Mares Wanted
| At Apache we believe the success of our stallions is dependent on the mares and “doing it right”. Apache provides excellent mare care focusing on nutrition for pregnant and nursing mares, a reproductive specialist veterinarian, and daily teasing. Generally, we will not provide ship in and breed the same day services. We want your mare to stay the time required to acclimate to her surroundings, be bred, and have at least one confirming pregnancy ultrasound before shipping her home. Our experience is that acclimation and appropriate evaluation and preparation makes pregnancy much more likely on one breeding cycle. The stud fees for the 2008 breeding season are $1,500 for Arouse and $1,000 for Dynamometer. These fees will be increased for 2009 to $2,500 for Arouse and $2000 for Dynamometer. However these fees are subject to several potential discounts: Multiple Mares 2-3 mares $250 discount per mare 4 or more mares $500 discount per mare State Bred Programs If your resulting foal will participate in Pennsylvania, New York or similarly strong incentive program, a $250 discount per mare will be provided Black Type Mares who possess black type or come from a strong black-type family will be discounted at variable amounts up to and including waiver of the stud fee These discounts may be combined up to full waiver of stud fee. DREAM MARES Every guy has a dream girl, a pin up, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit or Victoria’ s Secret model tucked away somewhere. Arouse’s dream girl is a stakes winning Turkoman or Devil’s Bag mare. For her he will provide free services, and his owner will pay 50% of that mare’s board for sixty (60) days. Dynamometer’s dream girl is |
